Finalist from North Sulawesi, Kezia Roslin Cikita Waraouw, has been named Miss Indonesia 2016 after beating her two rivals at the final round of the contest here on Friday.
The 24-year old girl took the crown from Miss Indonesia 2015 from Central Java Aninditya Kusuma Putri who had promoted Indonesia in the past year through her participation in the Miss Universe 2015 beauty contest and achievement to being among the biggest 15.
After receiving the crown Kezia was congratulated by Miss International 2015 from Venezuela Edymar Martinez Blanco who was present at the event.
Kezia would later represent Indonesia in the Miss Universe 2016.
Tourism minister Arief Yahya was present at the event and crowned Intan Aletrijno as Miss Tourism 2016.
The 20th Miss Indonesia beauty contest was staged at Jakarta Conventional Center and attended by 39 finalists from across the country.***4***
