BRITTANY BOOKER- THE FUTURE MISS USA 2012

First time was a charm for Brittany Lynn Booker, a statuesque blonde from Houston, as she captured the coveted crown of Miss Texas USA 2012.  On September 4, 2011, she was chosen from the field of 123 outstanding contestants to be Miss Texas USA 2012.  The stunning, 5’11”, green-eyed model will represent the Lone Star State in the most prestigious of national pageants, Miss USA®.

More than just a beauty queen, Brittany excelled academically and graduated from Bay Area Christian School ranking third in her class and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.  She is currently a junior at University of Houston, majoring in Psychology/Human Development and Family Studies. 

Raised in a Christian family, Brittany was instilled with strong morals and ethics.  Her message to young women is that “true beauty comes from within”.  She is a positive role model not only in words but by example. She is already making an impact in many lives as a regular volunteer at Hope Village Home for the Mentally Challenged.  She plans to follow her passion by earning her master’s degree in Psychology and devoting her future to making a difference in the lives of special needs children as a counselor.

Brittany does not expect things to come easily and demonstrates discipline, determination and hard work.  She loves all kinds of sports and is a talented singer, often singing at her church.

As Miss Texas USA 2012, Brittany Booker embarks upon the new challenges and responsibilities as a good will ambassador, making appearances on behalf of sponsors and charitable organizations, and preparing for the Miss USA® competition.
