MISS USA 2015: OLIVIA JORDAN'S NUDE PHOTO/SEX SCENE VIDEO BREAKS THE MISS UNIVERSE CONTRACT?

The new Miss USA 2015 has not even been crowned queen for more than a day and already Olivia Jordan’s nude photos may start a scandal for Miss Oklahoma.
Jordan will represent the United States for the Miss Universe 2015, but is it possible she broke the terms of the Miss USA contract?
In a related report by the InquisitrDonald Trump’s stance on illegal immigrants has upset some in the United States, but many people were scratching their heads when Miss Nevada 2015, Brittany McGown, suggested that racist groups need to get together.
The Miss Universe beauty pageant bills itself as a wholesome event. The rules specified in the standard contracts are very strict and do not allow for anything improper like nude photos or sex scenes in a movie. So, if a video ever featured Olivia Jordan naked, then it is possible she could be considered in breach of this contract.
Just how strict exactly is the Miss USA contract? While the Miss USA organization does not usually share the exact details, the public was offered a peek when Miss California USA 2009 Carrie PreJean sued Miss USA. Prejean was stripped of her Miss California USA crown for alleged breaches of contract after she answered onstage questions about legalizing gay marriage. Officially, the pageant officials dethroned her for the release of topless photos, but PreJean sued and the Miss USA contract was made public.
Here is an example of one stipulation offered by the contract.
“I have NEVER appeared on any television contest, game or reality show or applied to be a contestant or participant on any television contest game or reality, and I have NEVER appeared, or agreed to appear, in any other television show or motion picture.”
Any beauty queen who signs this contract can answer the above statement with “true” or “false” as the answer. This might be a problem for Miss USA 2015, since the contract also says that “any such appearances or applications may affect my eligibility.”
As an actress, the new Miss USA 2015 has been featured in movies like Ted, Here Comes The Boom, Jobs, Sophie, Starving In Suburbia, 10.0 Earthquake, and Hot Tub Time Machine 2. According to Pageant News, what the Miss Universe 2015 officials may consider questionable is Olivia Jordan’s nude scene in the TV series Murder In The First.
On the show, Jordan strips down to a green bra and goes completely bottomless. At several points in the scene, the camera clearly shows her naked butt.
Why is this a problem? The Miss USA contract also specifies that any beauty queen may not have any partially nude photos, which may conflict with Olivia Jordan’s sex scene.
“I acknowledge that, by way of example, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing in any way, having appeared in public or permitted myself to be photographed in a state of partial or total nudity or in a lewd, compromising or sexually suggestive manner constitutes a violation fo this provision (this includes photographs or images that may appear on any web site, such as MySpace or Facebook.)”
This copy of the Miss USA contract is several years old. Since it is possible the contract has been modified over time, I asked if this particular part of the contract may have been updated.
“It has never changed,” a pageant insider told The Inquisitr. “The rules were the same in 2009 as in 2013 as it is in 2015. Pageant contracts are consistent and do not change on a whim, especially when pertaining to nudity and the TV/film appearances clauses. It’s pretty standard for any pageant system to have these rules.”
In the past, multiple beauty queens have been dethroned and their titles stripped after nude photos became public knowledge. For example, Vanessa Williams was stripped of her crown when nude photos surfaced after she won the beauty pageant. Earlier in 2015, the Miss World Zimbabwe crown was taken away from Emily Kachote for leaked nude photos. Carrie PreJean posed partially topless for a photograph, but TMZ also released a sex tape after her lawsuit started. In the case of Jordan, the question is whether it can be considered acceptable for an actress to be partially nude for a scene while still meeting the moral standards for the Miss Universe beauty pageant.
Do you think Olivia Jordan’s naked scene should disqualify her from being Miss USA 2015 and competing for Miss Universe 2015?
